I’m Summer

Originally from California (I’m an L.A. girl), I moved to France (via New York where I worked at the Atout France: France Tourism Development Agency) and lived five years in Paris before moving to the beautiful Loire Valley some 20 years ago and counting. I worked as Marketing Director of the Touraine Loire Valley Tourist Board and managed a local wine shop, before launching Loire Valley Concierge designing exceptional travel experiences, events, and retreats in the Loire Valley (and beyond!). I’m also a tour guide in the Loire Valley, Champagne, and Provence for a USA-based tour operator offering luxury, small-group experiences in France.

I have seen and visited countless exceptional places and had so many memorable moments that I love to share with those who come for a visit, but above all, it’s the wonderful PEOPLE - my friends, partners, and guests over the years - that make every experience magical. I love introducing Loire Valley Concierge guests to my friends here. I love connecting with people & also organize events for the community - expats & French locals alike - via Loire ConneXion.

My greatest joy is being a mom to my three French-American daughters, all born in France…and, of course, French food, wine, history, art, books, and travel! I look forward to sharing my favorite people, places & experiences with you here!
